Managing disbursements as a Platform Administrator

We will cover how to make disbursals in three scenarios:

  1. Daily disbursals generated (with SFTP integration)

  2. Daily disbursals generated (without  SFTP integration)

  3. Manually triggered / exception payments (e.g intra-day for urgent requests)


Daily disbursals

On your invoice investment days (more detail here), the system will “purchase” all invoices which are fully approved and within their strategy limit. This typically occurs at 5am BST unless otherwise specified.


1. Daily disbursals with SFTP integration

If you have an SFTP integration for disbursals, payment instructions will be automatically generated by the platform which you can retrieve from your SFTP server.


2. Daily Disbursals without SFTP integration

If you do not have SFTP integration, then you will receive an email with the payment file. Please ensure to make the payments during that day so that the interest calculations are correct.

You can also find all previous payment reports on the Admin Portal under your Funder or Fund Manager Profile in Companies >> Invoice Purchase


3. Manually triggered disbursals (e.g. intra-day exceptions)

If you need to make a payment outside of the daily payment cycle you can do this under the Invoice Purchase Menu on the admin portal.


Please note, this will purchase all invoices for the selected funder that are in funding_pending status and within their strategy limit.


This will then generate a payment file to be completed manually or SFTP (as relevant)
