Setting up a Domain

Setting up a Domain

As part of the onboarding process you will be asked to fill out an onboarding form

In this form you will be asked to indicate the approach you would like to take for establishing the domain where the FinverityOS platform will be hosted:
  1. Domain fully managed by Finverity (we will set up the domain)
  2. Delegate a Domain you own or will set up and share with Finverity
  3. Delegate a Sub-Domain you own or will set up and share with Finverity

Depending on the approach chosen an additional steps must be completed for the Finverity team to be able to commence environment deployment.

Please see different approaches available and prerequisites for each:

1. Domain fully managed by Finverity (we will set up the domain)
  • Select desired domain name and confirm its availability by conducting a pre-check through a domain registration service such as whois.com.
  • Finverity purchases this domain using our registration data.
  • Finverity uses newly purchased domain to deploy your FinverityOS platform.

2. Delegate Domain
  • Select desired and available domain name and proceed with the purchase.
  • Confirm to Finverity when the domain purchase has been completed
  • Finverity will provide Name Server (NS) records during the client environment setup.
  • Delegate newly purchased domain to Finverity by adding provided NS records in accordance with the instructions provided by the domain registrar (within 7 days of completing the onboarding form)
  • Finverity then will be able to access and use your domain for your FinverityOS platform.

3. Delegate a subdomain
  • Select desired and available domain name and proceed with the purchase.
  • Create a subdomain
  • Finverity will provide Name Server (NS) records during the client environment setup.
  • Delegate newly created subdomain to Finverity by adding provided NS records in accordance with the instructions provided by the domain registrar (within 7 days of completing the onboarding form)
  • Finverity then will be able to access and use your sub-domain for your FinverityOS platform.
Please note a valid domain or subdomain must be provided within a week of submitting the onboarding form.

Any delays in providing a valid and dedicated domain or subdomain for FinverityOS platform will cause delays to the target deployment date.
