Understanding Limit Types

The platform supports different types of limits.

Platform Limit

This limit is set by the platform admin. It is the maximum platform-wide exposure on a given obligor. As a platform admin, you can learn how to configure this limit here.

Wallet Limit (Available Wallet Balance)

This limit is set by a funder or fund manager. It is the maximum amount that a funder or fund manager can commit to an investment strategy in a specified currency. You can learn how to set wallet limits:

Investment Strategy Limit

This limit is set by a funder or fund manager. It is the maximum exposure for the investment strategy. An investment strategy is a set of instructions that describe how the funds should be invested. You can learn how to set investment limits:

Seller Limit

A funder or fund manager sets this limit on an invoice seller. It is optional, and therefore if not set, the system will rely on the Investment Strategy Limit, and the Platform Limit. You can learn how to set a seller limit:
