User Roles and Permissions

In this article we will present specific permissions with description that can be assigned to invited users.

Every onboarded User in Finverity platform can invite their team members and assign them roles/permissions.
The type of permission will be determined by the type of User: Funder, Fund Manager, Payer or Supplier. There is however no limit on what permissions can be granted to an individual. 

Permissions can be located in "User Management" tab in the Client Platform: 



FInverity platform also provides templates for specific roles: it's a quick and easy way to assign permissions to a specific individual.

Funders and Fund Manager Permissions

While both roles are similar, as Fund Managers's main role is day-to-day operational invoice approval it will reflect the additional permissions that can be granted to that role.

View DocumentsUsers can view platform contracts and policies you accepted when you registered to use the platform.✔️✔️
Edit Company ProfileUsers can edit and manage your company KYC information.✔️✔️
Invite Fund ManagersUsers can invite fund managers (i.e. third parties) to manage investment strategies on your behalf. They can also assign limits to these fund managers. If you would like all strategies created/edited by fund managers to be approved before going live then please enable this setting when inviting the fund manager.✔️✔️
Manage UsersUsers can create and invite new users to use your account, and assign them any of the permissions listed in this sheet. This permission should therefore only be assigned to an admin.✔️✔️
Manage Payer WorkflowsUsers can enable/disable approval workflows for invoices you finance.✔️✔️
Manage Bank AccountsUsers you assign this permission can setup the bank accounts to withdraw your funds and to pay investment returns.✔️✔️
Manage Strategies and DealsUsers can create/edit/stop your investment strategies. This includes setting and editing of investment limits.✔️✔️
Withdraw FundsUsers you assign this permission can withdraw funds from your segregated bank account.✔️✔️
Deposit FundsUsers you assign this permission can deposit funds into your segregated bank account.✔️✔️
Edit Company RepresentativeUsers can edit the profile of the representative/authorised signatory.✔️✔️
Upload InvoicesUsers can upload invoices on behalf of the payers you manage.✔️✔️
Manage Invoice AttachmentsUsers can upload/delete invoice attachments i.e. supporting documentation.✔️✔️

Payer Permissions

Here is a list of all permission that can be granted from Payer's Finverity Platform perspective.

Approve/Decline InvoicesUsers can approve/reject invoices that have been submitted by your suppliers and by doing so also accept the irrevocable payment undertaking on behalf of your company.
Manage PaymentsUsers can view outstanding repayments, generate repayment references for one or more invoices and mark repayments as paid.
Manage Bank Accounts (create/validate)If you register to use our segregated banking solution, users you assign this permission can setup the bank accounts to withdraw your funds to. We also use the bank accounts you provide to reconcile repayments.
View DocumentsUsers can view platform contracts and policies you accepted when you registered to use the platform.
Edit Payer SettingsUsers can allow or restrict sellers from uploading invoices
Manage HedgingUsers can use our inbuilt FX hedging feature to reduce currency risk.
View WalletUsers can view the balances of all your segregated accounts.
Withdraw Funds (from wallet)If you register to use our segregated banking solution, users you assign this permission can withdraw funds from your segregated bank account.
Deposit Funds (to wallet)If you register to use our segregated banking solution, users you assign this permission can deposit funds into your segregated bank account.

Seller Permissions

Here is a list of all permission that can be granted from Seller's Finverity Platform perspective.

View paymentsUsers can view payments.
Sell InvoicesUsers you assign this permission can sell invoices. This permission should be assigned to an authorised signatory role.
Edit Company ProfileUsers can edit and manage your company KYC information.
Manage Bank AccountsUsers you assign this permission can setup and manage bank accounts. This permission should be assigned to an authorised signatory role.
Edit Supplier SettingsUsers can enable/disable auto-sell which would automatically sell invoices upon payer and funder approval. This permission should be assigned to an authorised signatory role.
View DocumentsUsers can view platform contracts and policies you accepted when you registered to use the platform.
